Mixing up your own masks at home is a delicious form of self care—sometimes delicious enough to eat the leftovers! Here are some of our favorite DIY masks for various skin types. Combine the ingredients and mix extremely well by hand or in a small blender until you have a spreadable texture. Apply your mask to clean skin, and leave on for 20-30 minutes. Rinse off in the shower, and enjoy your glowing skin!

Acne prone skin: 

1 tablespoon fresh aloe gel + 1 teaspoon manuka honey + ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder + ¼ teaspoon lemon juice

Dull, dry skin: 

1 tablespoon plain yogurt + ½ tablespoon buttermilk + ½ teaspoon turmeric powder

Irritated skin:

1 tablespoon plain yogurt + 1 teaspoon manuka honey + 1 teaspoon oat flour or ground oats

Dehydrated skin: 

1 teaspoon ground flaxseed + 1 teaspoon hot water + ½ teaspoon manuka honey + ½ teaspoon cacao powder + 2 small slices ripe banana

Oily Skin (use blender):

¼ cucumber with skin + 1 tablespoon fresh avocado + ½ teaspoon matcha powder
